About Ashley

A coach, creative and guide for transformation

A woman with blonde hair, glasses, and a bright smile, sitting on a beige sofa in a sunlit living room, wearing a white blouse and gray pants, with a decorative pillow on the sofa.

I’ve spent the past two decades working at the intersection of creativity, personal growth and performance - as a life coach, educator, choreographer and mentor. This path has not been linear, but my experiences have revealed a profound gift: I enable others to express their talents with confidence and joy.

As a professionally trained Life Coach, I bring together my passion for psychology, the arts and Buddhist philosophy to create a grounded, intuitive space for transformation. I earned my CLC through Coaches Training Alliance and am on the path to becoming recognized as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the International Coaching Federation. My degree in Criminology and Law from UC Irvine deepened my understanding of human behavior, while my simultaneous study at the Claire Trevor School of the Arts fueled my lifelong love for dance, expression and movement.

Before coaching, I spent twenty years in the performing arts - working as an educator, choreographer and creative director. I’ve taught master classes at high school and university levels, helped build nationally recognized arts programs and been instrumental in shaping the skills of artists now thriving as professional dancers, choreographers, acclaimed content creators and more. Many of my students have gone on to become not just working artists, but doctors, lawyers and creative business owners - empowered individuals confident in their voice and vision.

As a performer, I’ve worked in feature films, commercials, music videos, and on national television. I am a proud SAG-AFTRA member, a CADC dance crew alum, and a published music artist and writer.

Over the years I recognized that my training in the skills of improvisation (Upright Citizens Brigade/Westside Comedy Theater) were the most foundational when it came to my success as a creative.  Learning how to make choices quickly under pressure and collaborate with individuals to build imaginary worlds helped rewire my brain. Over time, I recognized that improv had transformed my often cynical nature into a positive one that is adept at creating possibility quickly and without judgement. The skill of improvisation plays a big role in my style of coaching and in my own creative process.

My creative work goes beyond resumes or stages. For over 14 years, I’ve volunteered within the Buddhist community, deepening my experience of life through self-reflection and realizing the connection between self-belief and environment. I have shared these experiences and helped young women go on their own journeys of challenging their circumstances and actualizing their potential to positively transform the world around them. My coaching draws from this inner work, blending insight and structure with compassion, creativity and listening.

I believe that:

  • Self-expression is essential to well-being

  • Communication starts with how we speak to ourselves

  • Creative practice is a pathway to joy, healing and personal power

  • Transformation happens when we love and accept ourselves

Whether I’m coaching a teen through a tough transition, mentoring an artist on their next leap or helping an adult rediscover their voice - I offer a space to be seen, heard and supported as you connect with your truth and move forward with intention.
